Open Gmail
Click the label you want to remove
Select the email or emails
Click the Labels icon
Uncheck the label
Click Apply
To delete a label completely, go to Settings
Click See all settings
Open the Labels tab
Find the label
Click Remove or Delete
Confirm the action
