Remove the door from the track by lifting it up and swinging the bottom out
Open the pocket door fully if possible
Locate and remove any stop molding or trim around the opening
Unscrew the door guides at the floor if present
Check for adjustment screws or release clips on the hangers
Lower the door slightly to disengage the rollers from the track
Pull the door out of the pocket carefully
Remove the track hardware if needed
Patch or replace trim and wall openings after removal
