Park the vehicle on a flat surface and switch off the ignition
Lift the wiper arm away from the windscreen
Locate the wiper blade attachment point
Press the release tab or clip on the blade connector
Slide the wiper blade off the arm
If removing the entire wiper arm, lift the plastic cap at the base
Remove the retaining nut with the correct socket or wrench
Mark the arm position on the windscreen if needed
Wiggle the arm gently and pull it off the spindle
Store the removed parts safely
