Let the wax harden completely
Gently scrape off excess wax with a plastic scraper or old credit card
Place a paper towel or brown paper bag over the remaining wax
Warm the area with a hair dryer on low heat
Blot the softened wax with the paper towel as it melts
Repeat until the wax is removed
Clean the spot with warm water and mild dish soap
Wipe dry with a clean cloth
Touch up the wall with matching paint if needed
