Select the column or columns you want to remove
Right-click the selected column header
Click Delete
Or go to the Home tab
Click Delete in the Cells group
Select Delete Sheet Columns
To remove non-adjacent columns, hold Ctrl and select each column header
To remove multiple adjacent columns, drag across the column headers
To delete a column using keyboard shortcuts, select the column and press Ctrl + –
Confirm the deletion if prompted
