Rub the stain with a clean nylon stocking or dry microfiber cloth
Use a damp cloth with a little white vinegar and blot the mark
Apply a small amount of liquid laundry detergent directly to the stain
Gently rub the fabric together to loosen the residue
Let the detergent sit for 5 to 10 minutes
Rinse with cold water
Wash the shirt according to the care label
For stubborn marks, use a paste of baking soda and water
Apply the paste, gently rub, then rinse and wash
For white shirts, use a stain remover safe for the fabric
Avoid using hot water until the mark is gone
Air dry the shirt before checking if the stain is fully removed
Repeat the treatment if needed before machine drying
