Open McAfee
Go to Settings
Turn off notifications and alerts
Open Windows Settings
Go to System
Select Notifications
Turn off McAfee notifications
Open Task Manager
Go to Startup
Disable McAfee startup items
Open Control Panel
Go to Programs and Features
Uninstall McAfee if you do not want it installed
Restart your computer
Check your browser extensions
Remove any McAfee-related extensions
Run a malware scan if pop-ups continue
