Open Instagram and go to your Direct Messages
Open the group chat
Tap the group name at the top
Tap Members or People
Find the person you want to remove
Tap their name
Select Remove from Group or Remove from Chat
Confirm the removal
You can only remove someone if you are the group creator or have permission to manage the group
If you do not see the remove option, you may not have the required permissions
If you cannot remove the person, you may need to leave the group or ask the group creator to remove them
