Scrape off excess sap with a dull knife or spoon
Freeze the fabric with ice to harden the sap
Rub liquid laundry detergent into the stain
Apply rubbing alcohol or hand sanitizer to the sap
Blot with a clean cloth
Rinse with warm water
Wash the clothing according to the care label
Repeat treatment before drying if sap remains
Avoid putting the item in the dryer until the stain is gone
