Rinse the plastic with warm water as soon as possible
Wash with dish soap and a soft sponge
Make a paste of baking soda and water
Rub the paste onto the stain and let it sit for 10 to 15 minutes
Scrub gently with a sponge or soft brush
Rinse thoroughly with warm water
Repeat if needed
For stubborn stains, soak the plastic in a solution of warm water and vinegar
Wash again with dish soap after soaking
Use a small amount of hydrogen peroxide on white or clear plastic if needed
Rinse very well after using hydrogen peroxide
Avoid abrasive scrubbers that can scratch the plastic
Dry the plastic completely after cleaning
