Hold the front of the jewelry gently to keep it steady
Unscrew or unclip the backing if it is removable
Slide the jewelry out slowly and carefully
Do not force it if it feels stuck
Apply gentle pressure with clean gauze if there is minor bleeding
Clean the area again with saline after removal
