Turn off Autocomplete with trending searches
On a browser, go to Google Search settings
Find Autocomplete with trending searches
Select Do not show popular searches
Save the changes
On Android, open the Google app
Tap your profile picture
Tap Settings
Tap Notifications
Turn off trending search notifications
Clear your Google app cache
Restart the Google app
Sign out of your Google account if the setting does not appear
Update the Google app to the latest version
On iPhone, open the Google app
Tap your profile picture
Tap Settings
Tap General
Turn off Autocomplete with trending searches
