Power off the phone immediately
Unplug any cables and remove the case
Remove the SIM card and memory card
Wipe the outside with a dry, lint-free cloth
Gently shake out excess water with the ports facing down
Place the phone in a dry, well-ventilated area
Use silica gel packets if available
Leave the phone to dry for at least 24 to 48 hours
Do not use a hair dryer, oven, or microwave
Do not charge or turn on the phone until fully dry
If the phone was exposed to salt water or still will not work, get it checked by a repair professional
