Read the trap’s instructions before use
Wear gloves to reduce human scent
Place bait on the trigger if required
Pull back the spring or bar carefully
Hold the trap open with one hand
Set the trigger mechanism with the other hand
Make sure the bait and trigger are aligned
Release the holding mechanism slowly
Check that the trap is armed and stable
Place the trap along walls or near signs of mouse activity
Keep fingers clear of the snapping area
Set multiple traps if needed
Check traps regularly and reset or dispose of them safely
