Turn off the vehicle and set the parking brake
Lift the wiper arm away from the windshield
Locate the attachment point where the blade connects to the arm
Press the release tab or clip on the wiper blade
Slide the blade downward or outward to detach it from the arm
If removing the entire wiper arm, lift the plastic cap at the base
Remove the retaining nut with the correct socket or wrench
Mark the arm position on the windshield if needed
Wiggle the arm gently and pull it off the spline
Lower the arm carefully back onto the windshield
Repeat for the other side if needed
