Open Chrome
Click the three-dot menu
Go to Settings
Click Search engine
Set the search engine to Google or another preferred option
Click Manage search engines and site search
Remove Yahoo from the search engine list if possible
Go to On startup
Remove Yahoo pages from the startup list
Go to Appearance
Check the Home button and remove any Yahoo URL
Go to Extensions
Remove any suspicious or unwanted extensions
Go to Reset settings
Click Restore settings to their original defaults
Confirm the reset
Open Chrome again
If Yahoo still appears, check your computer for unwanted programs and uninstall them
Restart Chrome after removing unwanted programs
