Open the group text thread in your Messages app
Tap the group name or menu icon
Look for Leave group, Exit group, or Delete conversation
If available, tap Leave group and confirm
If there is no leave option, mute or archive the conversation
Turn on notifications off for the group if needed
Block the sender if the messages are unwanted
Ask the group admin to remove you if the app does not allow leaving
