Remove the fan housing screws or mounting brackets
Disconnect the wiring from the old fan
Disconnect the duct from the fan housing
Remove the old fan from the ceiling
Compare the new fan size and electrical requirements to the old fan
Install the new fan housing in the ceiling opening
Secure the housing with screws or brackets
Reconnect the duct to the new fan
Reconnect the wiring according to the manufacturer’s instructions
Attach the fan motor and grille
Restore power at the breaker
Test the fan to confirm it runs properly
