Back up any important files, photos, and documents
Plug in the laptop or ensure the battery is charged
Sign out of accounts if needed
Open Settings
Go to System or Update & Security
Select Recovery
Choose Reset this PC
Select Remove everything for a full factory reset
Choose Local reinstall or Cloud download if prompted
Confirm the reset
Wait for the laptop to restart and complete the reset
Follow the on-screen setup after the reset finishes
