Turn on the printer
Open the front cover or ink access cover
Wait for the ink carriage to move to the replacement position
Press the tab on the empty ink cartridge
Remove the empty ink cartridge
Unpack the new ink cartridge
Remove the protective tape or orange cap
Insert the new cartridge into the correct slot
Push the cartridge in until it clicks into place
Repeat for any other cartridges that need replacement
Close the front cover or ink access cover
Wait for the printer to initialize
Print a test page if needed
