Open the refrigerator door
Locate the air filter cover inside the fridge, usually near the top rear wall
Remove the filter cover
Take out the old air filter
Unwrap the new air filter if it is packaged
Insert the new air filter into the holder
Reinstall the filter cover
Press and hold the Air Filter or Filter Reset button for 3 seconds, if your model has one
Close the refrigerator door
Replace the air filter every 6 months or when the indicator light turns on
