Connect the source hard drive and the target hard drive to the computer
Back up any important data from the target drive
Use disk cloning software
Select the source hard drive as the clone source
Select the target hard drive as the clone destination
Confirm the target drive will be overwritten
Start the cloning process
Wait for the cloning process to complete
Safely eject or disconnect both drives
Test the cloned drive by booting from it or checking its contents
