Open Instagram and find the post you want to repost
Check whether the post is public and whether reposting is allowed
Tap the share icon under the post
Select Add to story if you want to repost it to your story
Edit the story if needed, then tap Your story to share it
If you want to repost to your feed, take a screenshot or use a reposting app if permitted
Save the original creator’s username and give clear credit in your caption
Paste the content into a new post and tag the original creator
Review Instagram’s rules and the original creator’s permissions before posting
