Locate the Learn, Program, or Smart button on the garage door opener motor unit
Press and release the Learn, Program, or Smart button
Wait for the indicator light to turn on or start blinking
Within 30 seconds, press and hold the button on the remote you want to program
Release the remote button when the opener light blinks or the door moves
Press the remote button again to confirm the programming
Repeat the process for additional remotes if needed
Test the remote from outside the garage
If the remote does not work, replace the remote battery and repeat the steps
If needed, erase all remote codes from the opener and reprogram each remote individually
