Open the lock using the current combination
Locate the reset lever, reset button, or reset hole on the lock body
Move the reset lever to the reset position or press and hold the reset button
Set the dials or wheels to the new combination
Return the reset lever to the original position or release the reset button
Scramble the dials to lock in the new combination
Test the new combination before use
