Open the Home screen on your Kindle
Tap the Menu icon or Settings
Select Settings
Tap Device Options
Tap Reset or Reset Device
Confirm the reset when prompted
Wait for the Kindle to restart and erase all data
Set up the Kindle again after the reset completes
