Open Settings on Apple TV
Go to System
Select Reset
Choose Reset or Reset and Update
Confirm the reset
If you cannot access Settings, unplug Apple TV from power
Wait a few seconds
Plug it back in
If using a computer for older Apple TV models, connect Apple TV to the computer
Restore it using Finder on Mac or iTunes on Windows or older macOS
