Open Settings
Tap System or General management
Tap Reset options
Tap Erase all data or Factory data reset
Review the warning
Tap Reset phone or Reset device
Enter your PIN, password, or pattern
Tap Erase everything
Wait for the phone to restart and reset
If the phone is locked or won’t boot, power it off
Press and hold the correct button combination for recovery mode
Use volume buttons to select Wipe data/factory reset
Press the power button to confirm
Select Factory data reset if prompted
Select Reboot system now
Back up important data before resetting
Remove your Google account if needed to avoid activation lock issues
