Turn off the thermostat
Remove the thermostat from the wall plate if needed
Open the battery compartment
Remove the batteries
Wait 30 seconds to 1 minute
Reinsert the batteries
Reattach the thermostat to the wall plate
Turn the thermostat back on
If your model has a reset option in the menu, open Menu or Settings
Select Reset
Choose Factory Reset or Restore Defaults
Confirm the reset
Reconfigure the date, time, and system settings
If the thermostat is connected to Wi-Fi, reconnect it to your network
If the reset does not work, check the model number and follow the specific reset steps for that model
