Save any important files to an external drive or cloud storage
Plug in your HP laptop
Open Settings
Select System
Select Recovery
Under Reset this PC, select Reset PC
Choose Keep my files or Remove everything
Follow the on-screen instructions
Wait for the reset to complete
Set up your laptop again after it restarts
