Press PrtScn to capture the full screen
Press Windows key + PrtScn to save a full-screen screenshot automatically
Press Alt + PrtScn to capture the active window
Press Windows key + Shift + S to open Snipping Tool and select an area
Open Snipping Tool from the Start menu and choose a capture mode
On some HP laptops, press Fn + PrtScn if the Print Screen key requires Fn
Paste the screenshot into Paint or another app with Ctrl + V if needed
