Locate the reset button on the back or bottom of the Comcast router
Use a paperclip or pin to press and hold the reset button for 10 to 15 seconds
Release the button when the lights start blinking or the router restarts
Wait several minutes for the router to fully reboot
Reconnect to the router using the default WiFi name and password if needed
Reconfigure any custom settings if the reset restored factory defaults
