Remove the lock from the door if needed
Remove the battery cover
Disconnect the batteries
Press and hold the Schlage button
Reconnect the batteries while holding the Schlage button
Keep holding the button until the lock flashes green and beeps
Release the button
Press the Schlage button once
Enter the default programming code on the sticker or manual
Press the Schlage button again
Enter a new programming code if prompted
Test the lock
If needed, factory reset by removing batteries, holding the Schlage button, reinserting batteries, and waiting for the confirmation flash and beep
