Put the car in Park
Press and hold both scroll wheels on the steering wheel until the screen turns off and the Tesla logo appears
Wait for the touchscreen to reboot
If needed, go to Controls > Safety > Power Off
Sit still and do not touch pedals, doors, or touchscreen for at least 2 minutes
Press the brake pedal to wake the car back up
For a full power cycle, turn off Climate and close all doors before using Power Off
If the issue remains, perform a factory reset from Controls > Service > Factory Reset
Enter your Tesla account credentials to confirm the factory reset
Contact Tesla Service if the vehicle does not respond or the problem continues
