Save any open work

Select Power
Hold Shift and click Restart
Wait for the recovery screen
Select Troubleshoot
Select Advanced options
Select Startup Settings
Select Restart
Press 4 or F4 for Safe Mode
Press 5 or F5 for Safe Mode with Networking
Press 6 or F6 for Safe Mode with Command Prompt
