Turn on both iPhones and place them near each other
Connect both iPhones to Wi-Fi and power
On the old iPhone, make sure Bluetooth is on
On the new iPhone, begin the setup process
Choose Quick Start when it appears
Use the old iPhone to scan the animation on the new iPhone
Enter the old iPhone passcode on the new iPhone
Set up Face ID or Touch ID on the new iPhone
Tap Transfer from iPhone
Keep both iPhones close together until the transfer finishes
Wait for apps, settings, and data to transfer
Sign in to your Apple ID if prompted
Check that photos, messages, contacts, and apps are restored
Keep the new iPhone connected to power until setup is complete
