Back up important files, photos, and documents
Save passwords, product keys, and account details
Plug in the laptop or ensure the battery is charged
Open Settings
Go to System or Update & Security
Select Recovery
Choose Reset this PC or Factory Reset
Select Remove everything for a full factory reset
Follow the on-screen prompts
Choose Local reinstall or Cloud download if prompted
Confirm the reset
Wait for the laptop to restart and complete the process
Set up the laptop again after the reset finishes
