Back up important files
Download the Windows ISO from Microsoft
Get a USB drive with at least 8 GB free
Create a bootable USB using Rufus or the Media Creation Tool
Insert the USB into the target PC
Restart the PC
Open the boot menu or BIOS/UEFI setup
Select the USB drive as the boot device
Save changes and restart if needed
Choose language, time, and keyboard settings
Click Install now
Enter the product key or choose I don’t have a product key
Select the Windows edition if prompted
Accept the license terms
Choose Custom: Install Windows only
Select the drive or partition to install Windows
Delete or format partitions if needed
Click Next to start installation
Wait for Windows to copy files and restart
Complete the setup screens
Sign in and finish Windows setup
Install drivers and Windows updates
Restore your files and apps
