Right-click the app or file
Select Run as administrator
Click Yes if prompted by User Account Control
To always run as administrator, right-click the app
Select Properties
Open the Compatibility tab
Check Run this program as an administrator
Click Apply
Click OK
For a shortcut, right-click the shortcut
Select Properties
Open the Shortcut tab
Click Advanced
Check Run as administrator
Click OK
Click Apply
Click OK
