Open the Messages app
Open the conversation containing the message
Press and hold the message you want to retract
Tap Undo Send
Confirm if prompted
Make sure both devices are using iMessage and iOS 16 or later
Note that Undo Send works only within a short time after sending
If Undo Send is unavailable, delete the message from your device only
