Open the Instagram app
Go to the Reel you want to save
Tap the share icon or three-dot menu
Select Save to add it to your saved posts
To save it on your device, use Instagram’s download option if available
If download is not available, use screen recording on your phone
On iPhone, use Screen Recording from Control Center
On Android, use Screen Recorder from Quick Settings
Trim the recording after saving if needed
If it is your own Reel, open it from your profile
Tap the three-dot menu
Select Download or Save to device if available
Check your phone’s gallery or Photos app for the saved Reel
