Press PrtScn to copy the entire screen to the clipboard
Press Alt + PrtScn to copy the active window to the clipboard
Press Windows key + PrtScn to save a full-screen screenshot automatically
Press Windows key + Shift + S to open Snipping Tool and select part of the screen
Open Snipping Tool or Snip & Sketch from the Start menu and choose a capture mode
Use the Xbox Game Bar with Windows key + G and click the capture button
Use third-party screen capture software if needed
Paste clipboard screenshots into Paint, Word, or an image editor with Ctrl + V
Find saved screenshots in the Pictures folder under Screenshots
