Open the Quick Settings panel (swipe down from the top of the screen)
Tap Screen recorder
Choose audio options (if available)
Tap Start recording
To stop, tap the Stop button in the screen recorder overlay or in the notification shade
If you don’t see Screen recorder in Quick Settings:
Open Settings
Search for “Screen recorder” or “Record screen”
Enable or open Screen recorder
Start recording from the Screen recorder option
To record using buttons (if supported on your device):
Press and hold the Power button and Volume Down button together
Tap Screen recorder (if a prompt appears)
To record with Google Assistant (if supported):
Say “Hey Google, screen record” or “Start screen recording”
Approve any permission prompts
Tap Stop when finished
Check where recordings save:
Open Gallery or Photos
Look under Screen recordings / Videos / Album name shown by your device
