Lay bacon in a single layer
Cook 3–6 minutes, turning once if needed, until browned and crisp
Transfer to a paper-towel-lined plate to drain
Place bacon on a microwave-safe plate lined with paper towels
Cover with additional paper towels
Microwave on high 3–6 minutes, depending on thickness and quantity
Drain and blot, then microwave in additional 30–60 second intervals if needed
