Preheat oven to 400°F (205°C)

Cut spaghetti squash in half lengthwise

Scoop out seeds and stringy pulp

Drizzle cut sides with olive oil

Sprinkle with salt and pepper (optional garlic powder, Italian seasoning, chili flakes)

Place cut sides down on a baking sheet or in a baking dish

Bake until tender, 35–50 minutes, depending on size

Let cool 5–10 minutes

Use a fork to scrape the flesh into spaghetti-like strands

Toss with desired sauce or seasonings and serve
