Put both AirPods in the charging case
Close the lid for 10 seconds
Open the lid near your iPhone/iPad
Follow the on-screen prompt to connect
Tap Connect
Keep the AirPods case open and your device nearby if prompted
If not prompted: open Settings
Tap Bluetooth
Turn Bluetooth on
Press and hold the setup button on the back of the case until the light flashes white
Select your AirPods from the device list
Tap Pair
To switch connection: open the Bluetooth menu and select the AirPods
To connect to another device: repeat the pairing steps and ensure the AirPods are in pairing mode
If pairing fails: reset the AirPods by pressing and holding the setup button until the light flashes amber, then white, and try again
