Gather a new CR2032 battery.
Press down on the stainless steel back of the AirTag.
Twist the back counterclockwise until it stops.
Remove the back cover.
Take out the old battery.
Insert the new CR2032 battery with the positive side (+) facing up.
Put the back cover on.
Press down on the back cover while twisting it clockwise until it clicks into place.
