On Windows, press Windows + G to open Xbox Game Bar
Click the Record button or press Windows + Alt + R to start recording
Press Windows + Alt + R again to stop recording
Find recordings in the Videos > Captures folder
On Mac, press Shift + Command + 5
Choose the screen recording option
Click Record to start
Click the Stop button in the menu bar to finish
Find the recording on your desktop or in the location you selected
On Windows, use OBS Studio
Open OBS Studio
Add a display capture source
Click Start Recording
Click Stop Recording when finished
On Mac, use QuickTime Player
Open QuickTime Player
Click File
Click New Screen Recording
Click the Record button
Click Stop in the menu bar when finished
On Chromebook, press Shift + Ctrl + Show windows
Select the screen area to record
Click Record to start
Click Stop in the shelf to finish
Check microphone settings before recording if you want audio
Close unnecessary apps for smoother recording
Make sure there is enough storage space before recording
