Press Shift + Command + 5
Select Record Entire Screen or Record Selected Portion
Click Options to choose microphone, save location, and timer
Click Record
Click the Stop button in the menu bar to finish
Open the saved recording from the selected location
Use QuickTime Player as an alternative
Open QuickTime Player
Click File
Click New Screen Recording
Choose recording options
Click Record
Click the Stop button to finish
