Create or choose a design
Print the design on a transparent film
Coat the screen with photo emulsion
Dry the coated screen in a dark area
Place the film on the screen
Expose the screen to light
Wash out the unexposed emulsion
Let the screen dry completely
Set up the screen on a press or frame
Place the material to be printed underneath
Add ink to the top of the screen
Pull the ink across with a squeegee
Lift the screen carefully
Dry or cure the printed item
Clean the screen immediately after use
